Quark commits to open standards by opening QuarkXPress file format as XML

Quark announced QuarkXPress Markup Language (QXML), an open XML-based version of their proprietary file format. This makes a lot of sense. Any business that is creating documents in a proprietary binary format is looking to get shafted down the road.
