Battle Lines in the Document Format Wars

Both Microsoft and the OpenDocument camp are forming alliances to promote their respective formats.

The OpenDocument camp is calling theirs the Open Document Format Alliance.

Microsoft is calling theirs the Open XML Developer. They never miss an opportunity to try to brand it "open".

Content is pretty light at both sites. I am going to join both of them.
