Release 1.0 of the ODF-Converter, a Microsoft Word plug-in to convert to OpenDocument Format (ODF) has been released. The official Microsoft press release carefully sidesteps the issues of support (or lack thereof) and the fact that it is not properly integrated (comparable to the other formats supported by Word).
