Adobe to Release PDF for Industry Standardization

Adobe (in partnership with AIIM) is submitting the full PDF 1.7 format to the ISO. It is an important move to counter Microsoft XPS, but PDF/A is already in the works at ISO and is more important for digital preservation. Via Gary McGath.
