Internet Archive Gets DMCA Exemption

The Internet Archive got an exception to the Digital Millenium Copyright Act (DMCA) so it can continue to preserve software and video games. The actual text from the U.S. Copyright Office shows the limits of the exception: only for bypassing dongles and "original media" limits, and even then not until they are no longer commercially available.
